Our Founders

The Range Christian Fellowship began when God called Robyn and Alan Small to leave the security of a denomination and set out on the exciting journey of following Him in a different direction.

The church began on Sunday 9th November 1997. Our original name, The Range Christian Fellowship, was formed in response to our hope that just as the Great Dividing Range upon which we are situated spreads its influence across a large portion of Australia, so we would become a church that ranged out to bless people far outside our local area.

Our Senior Pastors

At the beginning of 2018, Alan and Robyn handed over the church ministry to Pastors Gary and Kerrie Armstrong.

They have been Elders at The Range for many years, while continuing to travel to Indigenous and remote areas with their own ministry, "Wheels Of Fire".

At this time they began to feel God speak to them about the need for change within the church. They implemented many key ministries that still function well today.

Gary and Kerrie have an incredible love for God and a passion to see people come to know Jesus.

On Sunday 22nd March 2020, the elders announced a name change, The Range Christian Fellowship is now known as Breakthrough Centre.

Through all that our Church has experienced, we have learned that God can be trusted! He is faithful to His Word! He really does love us! When we let Him be in charge, the outcome is beyond our expectations. God is good.
